Panzer IV Ausf AScreen shots: Scenario Builder/Editor Utility
The Main Menu and Modify Scenario Menu of the Scenario Builder program. Not particularly exciting, I have to admit.
The Unit Pick screen, from which you add units to a scenario, delete units from a scenario, change quantities (if you're using the Points system), and peruse units that are already selected for the scenario. The menu, listing available commands, appears in the upper lefthand box. The score, if you're using the Points system, appears in the upper righthand box. The upper center box tells you where you're at and what you're doing at the moment. The scores currently listed indicate this screen shot is with a test scenario loaded. One of the tests I run on these things is to see if the screen goes kerwonky when I load a lot of stuff, in this case, 999,999 British heavy artillery.
The Peruse Units function. Notice, in the bottom righthand box, the only nations listed are the ones with units currently in the scenario. If I added an Italian infantry squad, Italy would show up on this menu too.
Adding a unit to the scenario, in this case, picking from the list of Russian vehicles. Brief instructions appear in the lower right box, and units to pick from appear in the lower center box (it's the active menu, so that box is highlighted with a blue background). Since we're selecting Russian vehicles, the Russian vehicles that have already been selected for the scenario are listed in the lower righthand box. Since this scenario has the Points system turned on, the quantity and points for each unit are also listed here.
More Russian vehicles to choose from. I've added a bunch of Russian vehicle types, more than tripling the amount available in the original Yaquinto boardgames. I have a big long list of US, German, British, and Italian vehicles to add, and will eventually be adding the French, Japanese, Polish, Canadian, Australian, Finnish, Belgian, Swedish, and Hungarian units, plus probably more.
